our work our story contact us

Once we have helped you bring ideas to the surface through structured activities — whiteboard sessions focused on the prioritization of business aims and the definition of users, for example — we begin building representations of your solution, the prototype, in simple HTML.

Our prototypes show you how we are proposing to organize information, define features, build navigation schemes and combine graphic design, branding and functionality. The result is a full-blown set of visual models of your application. The benefits are many:

  • Our prototypes speed the process of reaching consensus; they help to converge opinion in ways that static paper specifications simply cannot.
  • They also lower risk by allowing us to make sure that the functionality and user experience of a proposed application have been reviewed and approved before coding begins.
  • And they ease the resolution of issues during coding: the prototypes serve as a commonly understood and jointly agreed upon reference for business stakeholders and developers alike.

We often create prototypes and documentation to guide the work of our development team. We also build them as stand-alone deliverables to be used to secure funding for an initiative or to serve as guides for the efforts of your own in-house programmers.
